Animal Rescue

We at Lacyloos.com are Great Pyrenees lovers. We were fortunate enough to adopt from the Mississippi Great Pyrenees Rescue located in Carriere, Mississippi. The mission of MSGPR is to rescue, provide sanctuary, and ultimately to re-home abandoned, stray and neglected dogs. Whenever possible they also assist dogs who, because of extenuating circumstances, are unable to remain in their homes with their owners. They are located in Southern Mississippi.

All of their "Pyrs" are housed in foster homes where they are provided with an enormous amount of love and any medical attention that may be required to insure that they are in good health before adoption. They are all spayed or neutered, micro-chipped and brought up-to-date on shots before being placed in their new homes. When time permits, they are also housetrained and taught basic obedience.

All MSGPR dogs are evaluated for temperament and personality. This helps them to place the dogs in homes that are well suited to their needs and to the needs of their future owners.
